Scott is Chairman and CEO and founder of Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital Ltd., a leader in commercial and construction financing. Prior to starting the company in 2004, he was a founding partner in MCAP, one of Canada’s leading mortgage banking firms. Under his leadership, MCAP’s assets under management grew from $50 million to $12 billion. A well-known industry speaker and former director of MTC Mortgage Investment Corporation, BILD and Tarion Warranty Corporation, Scott holds a BA from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and his ICD.D from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.

Diana has been with Cameron Stephens for 10 years, establishing and developing a team of finance, IT and compliance professionals. This has been a period of tremendous growth in terms of AUA, investor base, number of employees, expansion into Alberta and BC, the incorporation of a MIC and most recently the addition of a Mutual Fund Trust. Prior to arriving at Cameron Stephens, Diana was Controller at Corpfinance International Limited, a boutique firm specializing in debt and equity lending and auto-lease securitization. In addition, Diana brings over 20 years of mortgage-related experience in administration, product development, accounting and securitization with Manulife and Bank of Montreal. Diana is a CPA, CGA and a Dealing Rep.

Steve also heads up the company’s marketing and advertising division, as well as originating and strategizing the underwriting process when evaluating new deals. By forging strong client relationships and building and leveraging his in-depth understanding of real estate development, Steve provides creative leadership for the company and the property development community. Prior to his employment at CSMC, Steve worked at Home Trust in the single-family-dwelling business, and previously as Senior Sales Representative at Xerox Canada. Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph. He is also the president and co-founder of The Friends For Life Foundation, a local Toronto-based not-for-profit organization that raises money and awareness for the Oncology Unit at the SickKids Hospital and Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Dan Stewart is the Executive Vice President – Originations, Western Canada, responsible for new loans and mortgage syndications in BC and AB. For over 40 years, Dan has amassed a wealth of expertise providing working capital to Canadian developers in BC through lenders such as Royal Trust, VanCity and Bank of America Canada. Dan also spent close to a decade as a sales and marketing consultant for Maverick Real Estate Corporation (in Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle) as well as for his own firm, Stewart Real Estate Advisors, where he developed a deep understanding of the consumer side of the industry. Dan has also assisted developers with arranging for joint venture equity participations in new projects and asset sales included as part of more complex transactions. Previous to CSMC, Dan spent seven years as Managing Director of Atrium Mortgage Investment Corporation’s Prairie Region (Calgary office), and VP Mortgage Banking/Lending with Peoples Trust (Calgary office), where he helped to drive the success of numerous high-density residential and commercial projects. Kevin joined Cameron Stephens in 2013 as an Analyst for the underwriting department. In this role, he was responsible for underwriting new loan transactions for the mortgage origination team. By 2015, Kevin became responsible for underwriting new loan transactions originated by senior management, and in early 2017, Kevin transitioned to the mortgage origination team as a Business Development Manager, responsible for sourcing and structuring new loan opportunities in Southern Ontario. In January 2020, Kevin assumed his current role as Director, Mortgage Origination. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in International Business from Humber College, and passed the CFA Level 1 examination in December 2017. Kevin enjoys playing golf in the summer, hockey in the winter, and is currently studying to obtain his pilots license for recreational flight.

In early 2019, Ian transitioned to his current role as a Business Development Manager where he is responsible for sourcing and structuring new loan opportunities.
