George Ganas is a seasoned investment management professional with over 35 years of experience across public, private, and alternative asset classes. George has consistently driven growth and enhanced client experiences by aligning tailored investment solutions with client objectives.
George brings a wealth of practical experience to the role at Cameron Stephens. In his most recent position, he built a sales platform in the alternatives space helping grow AUM from $50 million to $1.5 billion. Strong leadership has taught him how to effectively articulate vision, listen actively, and convey ideas clearly to inspire trust and collaboration amongst teammates and clients alike. With a proven ability to lead teams, he has consistently exceeded AUM and revenue targets, leveraging expertise in strategic planning, sales leadership, and product development.
Complimenting the practical skills developed on the job, George is also big believer in the academic world. With credentials including an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and the CFA designation, George combines academic rigor with practical expertise to deliver exceptional results in investment management and client relations. As well, George has spent time as an adjunct professor, teaching corporate finance and investment planning at TMU. Prior to entering the finance world, George played for the Toronto Argonauts and captained Canada’s National Handball Team, showcasing his leadership and discipline.
