Senior Vice President, Western Canada
Aaron Unger is Senior Vice President, Western Canada, and is based out of our Calgary office. In this role, he will be responsible for leading business development, market expansion, credit adjudication, and operational oversight as Cameron Stephens continues to scale its regional platform across Alberta and British Columbia.
Aaron brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate and banking experience to the team. Prior to joining us, he held senior leadership roles at National Bank of Canada, including Regional Vice President and Managing Director of the Western Canada Real Estate Group. During his tenure, Aaron was instrumental in building and expanding the Bank’s commercial real estate financing platform across Western Canada, growing both the team and loan portfolio to more than $8 billion in assets under management. He is widely respected across the Western Canadian real estate community and brings deep relationships, strong credit instincts, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge.
