Katie Bonar serves as Senior Vice President, Investment Management at Cameron Stephens, where she leads the firm’s investment management platform. As Portfolio Manager for BSHY, WCHY, CSMT, Katie plays a critical role in shaping fund strategy, driving disciplined portfolio performance, and enhancing investor engagement. Her leadership is instrumental in aligning fund performance with Cameron Stephens’ broader capital markets strategy and growth objectives.
Katie’s precision and detail orientation have been unmistakable hallmarks of her work. She was instrumental in launching both Cameron Stephens Mortgage Trust, the company’s retail mortgage fund with an AUM of ~$140 million, and Cameron Stephens Equity Capital, a new division of the business that was created in 2020 to partner with real estate developers on residential and industrial projects. Her meticulous approach ensured the success of these initiatives, which have significantly contributed to our firm’s growth and expansion.
With a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a CFA designation earned in 2016, Katie’s academic achievements complement her hands-on experience and further exemplify her commitment to continual growth and development. Katie is licensed as a Mortgage Agent level 2 in Ontario.
