Vice President, Origination
Roman joined Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital in January 2025 as Vice President, Origination. In this role, he is responsible for originating and structuring new loan opportunities across various asset classes and building strong client relationships to further enhance the Cameron Stephens presence throughout Western Canada.
Roman brings over 15 years of cross-border commercial real estate lending experience to the team. Prior to joining us, he spent seven years as Vice President, U.S. Origination for a prominent international private lender headquartered in Canada. There he successfully expanded the firm’s presence across Western United States, primarily focused on multi-family construction, bridge financing and lot development financing arrangements. Before that, Roman held key roles at three of Canada’s largest financial institutions, where he originated, managed and underwrote multi-billions in net new business.
Roman holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta with a major in finance. Roman is licensed as a Submortgage Broker and Associate in B.C. and Alberta, respectively.
